Mainland Southeast Asia

Thailand, Vietnam, Cambodia, and Laos follow a dry season from roughly November through April, cooler and less humid from December to February. The wet season runs May through October, bringing afternoon downpours rather than all-day rain. October and November can still be rewarding, with lush landscapes and thinner crowds.

Maritime Southeast Asia

Closer to the equator, seasons are less about temperature and more about rainfall, which varies by island and coast. Bali's dry season generally runs April to October; the Philippines sees its wettest stretch from June to November.
